To provide accessible, comprehensive, quality Primary Care, Dental, Optometric and Ancillary services to the residents of San Joaquin, Kerman and other surrounding rural communities of western Fresno County in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, irrespective of their ability to pay.

History
Valley Health Team, Inc. was established in 1973 for the purpose of delivering a comprehensive range of outpatient services to the rural communities of west Fresno County. Today, Valley Health Team, Inc. continues to provide treatment regardless of cultural barriers and the patient's ability to pay.

Future
Valley Health Team's future is limitless. Our goals are: 1) to impact the elimination of teenage pregnancy and provide educational services in the prevention of teenage pregnancy and transmission of STD's, 2) provide educational services to young fathers and mothers, 3) provide access to prenatal care and educational services, 4) provide access to Diabetic and Hypertension educational services and specialty care, 5) provide accessible and mobile dental services and screenings to residents throughout VHT's service area, 6) provide basic health education and preventive services to farmworkers at their work sites and other locations where they may gather, 7) provide school-based health services, 8) provide more security and comfort for senior citizen residents, 9) develop emergency resources for the needy families within our community and a means of meeting the basic needs of our community and its residents.
